Nasdaq Dubai, the region’s premier international financial exchange, today announced the listing of a USD 500 million Sukuk issued by Sharjah Islamic Bank.

Issued under the bank’s USD 3 billion Trust Certificate Issuance Programme, the Sukuk matures in 2030 and was priced at a yield of 5.20%. The listing garnered strong investor interest, with the order book reaching USD 1.7 billion, an oversubscription of 3.4 times. Further, the Sukuk saw broad-based participation from investors across the MENA region, Europe, and Asia, underscoring confidence in Sharjah Islamic Bank’s credit strength and the growing appeal of Islamic finance.

With this latest listing, the total outstanding value of Sukuk issued by Sharjah Islamic Bank on Nasdaq Dubai has reached USD 2 billion across four listings.

The total value of Sukuk listed on Nasdaq Dubai now stands at USD 93.42 billion, reinforcing the exchange’s position as one of the world’s leading venues for Sukuk listings and a key marketplace for regional and international issuers.
